Finance Officer

The Finance Officer supports the effective financial management of MCMDO and its emergency response and development projects. Operating full-time at the Addis Ababa head office and reporting to the Finance Manager, the role ensures that financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly authorized, and fully compliant with organizational policies, donor rules, statutory requirements, and accounting standards. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within an NGO, INGO, or donor-funded environment, with working familiarity in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
